A Girl on the Shore
Inio Asano, a manga
10/10
AHH! This manga was so good! I've read Goodnight Punpun already and ended up becoming obsessed with Inio Asano's work. His work is so thoughtful and brings a sense of melancholy and longing, as well as hope. I love it so much. I wasn't surprised this work was just as good as Goodnight Punpun. I wouldn't say it was sadder, though, but that doesn't matter. Each work has its own different values and teachings. I love how Koume ended up liking him in the end, but he changed completely. It was..heartbreaking in a way. But, I don't blame him. She was just using him and by the time she came to her feelings, it was too late. In the worst way possible, she reminds me of myself. I def recommend this manga, although it is a little porn heavy and others might consider it boring, but I just think that's the point.
